Is Lady Gaga the new Madonna?

I think that Lady Gaga is just Lady Gaga and Madonna is just Madonna. Two totally different women, with two totally different styles. Lady Gaga is the trend at the moment just as Madonna was hot from 80s-early 2000s........I don't think Lady Gaga has the longevity of Madonna or Mariah Carey..... unless she evolves. Because she is so trendy.... I'm thinking that she will be a thing of the past in another year or so.
